My absence from writing has no excuses. I've been a busy chap finishing off my project on constructing realities and telling tales. A few final images are shown above. I was pleased with the general out come of my work. I think my research and development was stronger than my final images. I have my tutorial on this project on Thursday so I'll be able to get some one on one feed back from my tutor. My work above was all shot on 35mm B&W film using F/22 and flash.
I went home at the weekend after my brother had stayed with me for a couple of days last week. Was pretty nice to have him around in Notts. We played some football and had a lot to drink plus we had a good catch up. Over the weekend I went into the gym to try and secure myself some shifts for over easter. I also caught up over a few drinks with Olivia Lewis and her pretty face which was dead nice. Other than that I just ate my body wait in sandwich meats and scones with clotted cream and jam.
This week has been pretty much set on me finishing my essay on landscape photography. I'm looking at a particular image by William Henry Jackson. Which shows two men admiring the stunning views the American West has to offer.
Also at the moment round the Trent Uni area there is a lot of talk about voting for the new Trent ambassadors and student executive. When they come with their fliers to my flat I seem to have set up a basic rule of: if they have a pretty face and smile they are allowed to come in and put forward their waffle about their candidate however, a cheeky look through the peep hole and if it the person doesn't look cracking then it's a brief chat by the door.
Thursday is nearly here which means St.Patricks day - therefore, £1 a pint of Guiness is being served in Hooters. Already planned a visit with Alex and Ollie to the mecca of Nottingham. I will returning to this watering hole on Saturday for a beers, food and boobs with my cousin before we go and watch Nottingham Panthers at ice hockey.
Some good things to look forward to. Plus 3 weeks at home starting very soon. Cracking times.
