Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants

"I never want to take this for granted,
So I try and keep motivation simple, raw and positive,

If I only scrape a living,

Then it's a life worth scraping for,

If there's no future in it,

This present is worth remembering,

For fires of happiness or waves of gratitude,

For everything that brought us to that point on Earth,

And that moment in time to do something worth remembering or taking a photograph or scar,

I feel genuinely,

Hand on heart,

When I say,

I love doing what I do,

And that I may never be a rich man,
If I live longer enough I'll certainly have a tale or two for the grand children,

And I love the thought of that." THE DARK SIDE OF THE LENS.

For me - the above text is fucking brilliant. Such passion in just simple words.

The above images are just a few quick snaps from a recent day trip to Liverpool. We had to tickets the match at Anfield. We collected a delightful 3 points and jumped up a few points.

Photography ideas are starting to come to me now. Hopefully doing my first shoot tomorrow with Clem so fingers crossed the outcome will lead somewhere. I've got a crit on Thursday which is usually a 20minute presentation on my ideas and findings with the latest project I'm tackling. I need to crack on with some research this weekend and hopefully get a strong idea.

Matthew Wilson returns to Gill Street in a matter of hours. Haven't seen him since we broke up for Christmas all those moons ago. Deadly excited to have his amazing banter skills around E block once again.

I want another poem written by Jody Dale. See if there can be an improvement with the English and poetry skills. Plus maybe she could be so kind and pop a compliment in there and include less talk of periods. Sort it out Miss Dale.
